Peer-Review Process

Every manuscript submitted to JENERAL will be reviewed by the Editorial Board, and if the manuscript's standards are adequate, the editorial board will revise the article's format. After that, the manuscript will be sent for blind peer review by one of the external reviewers selected by the journal team based on their expertise (blind peer review). The results can be accepted with revisions, accepted with minor revisions, accepted with major revisions, or rejected. The submitting author is given the opportunity to revise the article based on the suggestions received from the reviewers. Specific information about whether the article is accepted and published or rejected is provided to the submitting author in writing. The entire process takes approximately 8 weeks from submission to publication.
